College Students Aren’t Scanning QR Codes
QR codes are everywhere these days. Despite its heavy use in Marketing, are people responding to them? A study by ArchRival indicates that even among the most technology-savvy demographic — college students — QR codes aren’t really catching on. Over 50% of college students say that they would be “very unlikely” to scan a QR code.
This begs the question of whether it’s a technology issue (you have to download an app first to scan) or a marketing issue (the content behind the code)?
