The app offers real-time answers to common questions about locations around you - venues, restaurants, bars, and other locations.

Kiip (pronounced like ‘keep’) has partnered with a wide range of brands, like Sephora, Vitamin Water, Dr. Pepper and Carl’s Jr., to offer free stuff in real-life for in-game success. So if, for example, you rack-up a string of three-star scores in Angry Birds, you might get a free milkshake, a 6-pack of soda or a sample mascara.

Believe it or not, it’s not the iPhone. Between November 2010 and February 2011, Android jumped 7 percentage points from 26% to 33% of the U.S. smartphone market, while Apple’s iPhone increased only from 25% to 25.2%.
